2005 Season's Events

Winter 2005-2006
          "New Storage & Heating System"

During the winter of 2005-2006 a group of island workers, directed by Chris Roberts, transformed an unused portion of the building that contained an old broken-down furnace and lots of old wood and other "stuff" into two bright and clean storage rooms.

Room one will house a new energy efficient furnace, the freezer and other kitchen supplies.

Room two will provide climate controlled storage for the Fifth Maine's collection of historic artifacts. Kudos to Chris and crew on a much-needed job well done!
