OUR PRICELESS VOLUNTEERS....!!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Fifth Maine Regiment Museum. Without them the Fifth Maine would not be the vibrant organization that is such an important part of our island community. Volunteers help to maintain our historic Hall and garden; volunteers greet the thousands of folks who visit the Hall each year; volunteers prepare and serve delicious breakfasts and suppers that are eagerly awaited by our island neighbors and friends from away; volunteers are instrumental in raising funds to cover operating and maintenance costs.

Volunteering at the Fifth Maine is not only a great way to meet new and interesting people, it's a terrific and much appreciated way to give to the community. It takes many helping hands to carry out our mission of preseving the Hall for the enjoyment of the community and we welcome your help. Many more volunteer opportunites than those listed here are available at the Fifth Maine. To learn more about them and offer your services, simply contact our Director, Kim MacIsaac at fifthmaine@juno.com or 207-766-3330.

Longtime 5th Me. volunteers Joan & Larry Blake oversee garden area landscaping, with the help of Dean Kamp and sons Chris and John.
