Ms. Hersey has just published her third book, Company Men, a murder
mystery that pits the medical profession against the insurance industry on
one hand and government sanctioned legislation on the other. This fast-paced
novel is set in Portland and Casco Bay. P R Hersey is a Portland native and
life-long resident of Peaks Island.

Portland Harbor Museum's 2006 Exhibit. Harbor Forts: A Look behind the Walls
From colonial times thru 1950 Fort Preble in
South Portland guarded the entrance to Portland Harbor. Museum staff will
take us on a guided tour of the fort and the 2006 exhibit which is housed in
the fort's ordinance building. A box lunch will follow the tour.
